Grants are available through the Australian Government and other organisations for individuals and local community groups and clubs to access.

Grants@DPCD

The Grants@DPCD has information on grants programs provided by the Victorian Government, and administered by the Victorian Department of Planning and Community Development. 

Community Heritage Grants

The
Community Heritage Grants aims to preserve and provide access to nationally significant Australian cultural heritage material held by community groups across the country.  Grants of up to $15,000 are available for preservation projects and training through community based workshops.

Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for juniors towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition or a School Sport Australia national championships.

Harmony Day Community Grants

The Harmony Day community grants provides funding for small and major scale community activities and projects by not for profit organisations that are seeking to address issues of cultural, racial and religious intolerance. The community grants annual funding round provides funding to help these organisations develop their own projects to help build stronger community relations.

Volunteer Grants

The Volunteer Grants is an initiative of the Australian Government to support volunteering, and build social inclusion and community participation in Australian communities.  The program provides funding to eligible non-profit organisations to assist their volunteers and encourage volunteering.

Community Development Grants

The Community Development Grants is an initiative of the City of Whittlesea to support projects that facilitate community cohesion.  Grants may also be available for new and emerging groups.

Veteran Community Grants

There are Veteran Community grants available through the Department of Veterans' Affairs for the veteran community.
