Volunteer Funding for Banyule
Federal Member for Scullin Harry Jenkins MP has congratulated Volunteers of Banyule on their recent funding success.
"The service has received $53,083 under the Volunteer Management Program to increase the training, advice and volunteer management services they offer to volunteers and not-for-profit organisations," Mr Jenkins explained. "I am always pleased when the vital role volunteers play in the community is recognised with additional funding and support."
Volunteers of Banyule is a program of the North East Region Volunteer Resource Centre in Watsonia North.
"Volunteers of Banyule operates essential and extensive services to meet the needs of our community," Mr Jenkins said. "I congratulate all those associated with the program, and the hardworking volunteer services involved on their funding success and wish them well with their work."
